Herby ~suds

Digital Art / Vector / People©2005-2013 ~suds
Decided to try something a little different, I'm really pleased with how it came out.

Got to grips with the gradient map tool in Illustrator too and its very useful if a bit counter intuitive. Photoshop was used for some colour adjustment and the bubbles.

Absolutely superb, an instant favorite. Extremely well produced. The eyes really draw you in and the color palette and background texture/effects around the edge of the hair are an original and wonderful touch. VERY WELL DONE!! :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:

as I understand your question; you have two vector shapes, and they aren't aligned flush against each other so you get a small but very annoying gap?

if thats the case, just put one shape below the other and make it slightly larger to fill the gap. As long as the higher shape doesnt change it'll look like the two shapes fit perfectly together.

i hope that helps a little more :)

either scale them or when you are drawing your vector with the pen tool make it larger where you know its going to be next to another shape.. i assume you are using illustrator but if not i cant really help with specific tools. contact me on msn (richmiddleditch@hotmail.com) if you have it.
